Turkey Passport (Pasaport) Photo Requirements
Applies to the Turkish Pasaport and visa photos (TR_passport in our verified spec DB).
- Size: 50×60mm — much larger than the Schengen-standard 35×45mm
- Face: 70–80% of the photo height
- Background: white or off-white, plain
- Expression: neutral, mouth closed, eyes open (standard biometric practice)
- Recency: taken within the last 6 months (standard biometric practice — confirm with the consulate)
- Editing: strict — no retouching, filters or AI alteration of appearance

Turkey uses 50×60mm — do not submit a Schengen 35×45mm photo; it will be rejected for being too small. Crop specifically to 50×60mm with the face filling 70–80% of the height.
